Our Beliefs

Here at FAITH

We hold on to the very simple truth that there is nothing we can do to make God love us more or love us less!   In response to this gift, we have adopted the following statement which encompasses what we believe…

We Believe in God:

who has created and is creating, who has come in Jesus, the Word made flesh, to reconcile and make new, who works in us and others by the Spirit.  We trust in God. We are called to be the Church: to celebrate God’s presence, to love and serve others, to seek justice and resist evil, to proclaim Jesus crucified and risen, our judge and our hope.  In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us.  We are not alone.  Thanks be to God!

We at FAITH are united in striving to know the will of God, for us, as taught in the Holy Scripture, and in our purpose to walk in the ways of the Lord, made known or to be made known to us.  We hold it to be in the mission of the Church of Jesus Christ to proclaim the Gospel to all persons, exalting the worship of the one true God and laboring for the progress of knowledge, the promotion of justice, the reign of peace, and the realization of creative human relationships in communities, fellowship, and families. Depending, as did those who came before us, on the continued guidance of the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth, we work and pray for the transformation of the world into the Kingdom of God; and we look with faith for the triumph of righteousness and the life everlasting.

Our Vision:

To rejoice and celebrate God’s creation, our diversity and interdependence, and to honor God’s desire for us to be one in the Spirit by bringing together “Many Cultures United in Christ!” look with faith for the triumph of righteousness and the life everlasting

Our Mission:

To spread the hope and love of Jesus Christ.  To share this good news with individuals through local and virtual avenues meeting spiritual needs while attending emotional, relational and physical requirements, reflecting the love and grace of God, to those in our local and global community.
