Christopher Santanelli has been serving as the Director of Music and Arts for Faith Church UCC in Tamarac since 2008, and oversees the music, drama, and dance ministries. An active performer, he was last seen onstage this past summer as King Triton at the Pembroke Pines Theater of Performing Arts, in their production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Previous stage performances include the role of Inspector Javert in PPTOPA’s Les Miserables, as well as featured soloist for Handel’s Messiah and Mozart’s Requiem. He has previously held a number of Musical Director and Assistant Musical Director positions in both professional and community theaters across South Florida, and also works with local high schools, serving as vocal coach and accompanist for soloists, choral concerts, and theatrical productions.
A graduate of Broward College in Davie and an impending graduate of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Mr. Santanelli has degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education, maintains a small private studio for teaching voice and piano, and looks forward to beginning a career in the teaching profession once he graduates FAU in December. In his free time (don’t laugh, there is some), he loves to cook, visit Walt Disney World, and play sports and games with his family: Dana, Hannah, Taylor, Michael, Joshua, and Isabella, who are far-and-away his greatest and most precious blessing in life.
